Update as of 1/21/20: The message boards have gone up and the contractor is still planning on closing the road in the morning on Monday the 27th. One of the first things they will be doing is putting together a crane on the bridge, so there will not be any way that a vehicle will be able to cross the bridge once the crane is in place and work begins.
They are hoping to be completed in one week, but this work is variable and is also weather dependent. They will update us as the work progresses and let us know if they will be completed sooner or if it looks like it is going to take longer.
We’ve been contacted by the contracted engineering firm for the work on CTH M in Indianford.
There is a small amount of clean up work that is needed yet on CTH M – Indianford. The contractor has been waiting for the river levels to cooperate with the equipment that is needed to perform this work.
Message Boards will be placed on Jan 20th informing the public of the closure. We are hoping the closure will be for a week or less.
